How do we prove the existence of the afterlife? There have been disembodied voices recorded, pictures of unexplained humanoid shapes, and even video of paranormal activity but is this proof? Does any of this explain what we are interacting with or how it is able to interact with us?

Most paranormal investigators use devices that measure electro-magnetic field radiation, anomalous radio frequencies, barometric and temperature changes, etc., to try and measure the output of a ghost. However, without a collective data set, we can't know whether this is coming from the spirit, the spirit is creating atmospheric changes, or we, the investigators, are generating the readings with our own bodies. Have these questions been rigorously tested and documented?

If you look for any information on paranormal investigation methods and resources you will find a thousand websites with different views and varying credibility. We, as a paranormal community deserve to have the vetted resources and guidelines of scientists in any other field. I believe that the fact that we don't have these foundation blocks endangers the credibility of the field and our hard work.
